Lumix ZS 100 Camera Demise

My little Lumix camera is worn out after years of constant use.
With YouTube assistance I made a valiant effort to resurrect it.
I found that something failed in the lens zoom extension mechanism more deeply than the motor drive unit gearbox.
I was advised the fault would be an irreparable problem, which proved to be true.
The camera components all went back together nicely though.
I learned a lot about the exquisite engineering and construction of this marvelous little camera.
I think I will save this camera as a puzzle to play with on another rainy day in the future.
