Broughton

SparseRunner was marshalling for the "Greenmantle Dash" in Broughton, which his running club was organising, so I went with him and Django and went for a walk instead. Starting from the village, I joined the walkers' carpark and spotted a horseshoe that looked feasible in the time I had, so headed for that. It was a really lovely walk - I really took my time so was a bit later than expected. It all worked out really well, though because the race also took much longer than forecast - the last runner got vertigo - so I managed to join SparseRunner at his marshalling spot near the finish just as the last runners and the sweeper arrived.
