Catching a Ray?

In between some amazingly heavy showers (hail too) there might have been an odd ray of sunshine today?!

Here mother and lamb sat calmly watching as I stopped the car to capture them for Blip. I just loved the closeness between mum and her lamb, as well as the wonderful colour of the lambs head.

So snow still on the hills, people still skiing in the Cairngorms and the fire is lit! Welcome to the middle of May. How long to mid summers day?
