Iron Man

A good day today.  After checking out of our hotel we headed to the (fairly) new RHS Bridgewater Garden in Salford.  It's come on in leaps and bounds since we were last there a couple of years ago, and very interesting to see a new garden take shape.   After that Mr C and I drove back to Liverpool and had a look (from outside the gates) at the rather spectacular new Everton FC stadium, currently under construction at Bramley-Moore dock.  It looks very impressive, and will be ready to replace Goodison Park at the start of the 20-24 season.  From them it was a short hop up the road for a walk along the beach at Blundellsands, home to Anthony Gormley's "Another Place".   I took a lot of pictures as the light was spectacular, and this was one of my favourites.  The extras are all from RHS Bridgwater.

After that, it was home in time to cook dinner for mum and dad.
