New Year - Same Sunday

Tiana had intended to cook brunch but as Joshua and I were gig rowing it became breakfast.
We arrived at the boatyard raring to go but as people dropped out and numbers dwindled we approached the dreaded ten/eleven, not enough for two gigs, too many to take in one and swap around whilst on the water. We set off for the first row and Josh and I chatted about the others wanting get a row so the pair of us opted to go twice.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Home to cook the traditional, in our house, New Years Day roast lunch, fortunately today is Sunday anyway so we are not going to end up with another one in a day or two’s time.

I am becoming aware that we are entering our last week of Joshua & Tiana leave with us and am determined not to get downcast, it might be a week or two but we will catch up with them again soon so we make the most of this week.
