Oh No It Isn't!

Oh Yes It Is!  It's Braithwaite Pantomime time of year again. 
Cinderella lies lachrymose in the kitchen and the Ugly Sisters are still in jeans and jerseys whilst Buttons is experimenting with poppers and zips. Around the district players have been muttering to themselves in corners, declaiming on car journeys, and scribbling frantically with pen on paper, trying to learn lines. Will we, or specifically me, be ready for tomorrow evening's rehearsal to go through the whole script word perfect? Oh no we (I) won't!
Blame Christmas or New Year but Procrastination is the real culprit. And of course, there are our costumes to consider, old glamour and torn finery from previous years to be re-furbished and re-used, let in and let out. Here's an old Robin Hood outfit plus an up-cycled lace tablecloth and sparkles. Creating my Dandini get-up - what a pleasant way to spend the rainy afternoon. 
And will I lose that half stone necessary for the tights to fit. Oh yes I will!!
