Google says 3hours, I say 2hours.

Google estimated it’d take just over 3 hours to walk from Dalmarnock to Barrhead.

Surprisingly whilst following the same route I was able to cover the distance in just over 2 hours.

This photo was taken on Kennishead Road, probably the most urban - country feeling - road I’ve ever walked.

Pavement for about 20metres and then just nothing, no trail, no lighting. Two lanes of traffic and cat lights as the only guide.

Scottish public transport is in a very poor state, after 6pm there is no direct bus from Barrhead Main Street to Glasgow and with the train strikes, I had to travel another two mile to get a bus back to Glasgow.

A very bear grills day but a very good day of staying active.
