In the library at 8.36am, that’s just not on. I headed up to the nice silent study area on the 5th floor, only to leave an hour later after I remembered that the desks are way too high for the chairs and were making my shoulders ache. The rest of the day was split between a few places, but all things considered it was oddly successful.

Tomorrow I’ll head back over to the department and get settled back in at my trusty desk there.
