Exmoor in the rain!

Last night we stayed at Lynmouth it's raining again not sure it has stopped from yesterday! My step father was born here and his family made the cliff railway which runs from Lynmouth to Lynton using water balance to pull the carriages up and down the cliff.
After a nostalgic ride up it and back we went up on the moors again.

Visibility was minimal! But I loved the repetition of layers.

We came across the Highland cattle again they are so cute and their calves were like woolly bears.

This single, weather beaten tree, stunted by the harsh weather caught my eye.

The stream is at Watersmeet near Lynmouth it flows out to sea there.

Tonight we are at Porlock and are just about to go to the Ship Inn which we have been told by the locals is the place to go!
