Cormorant

The weather was not as bad as predicted today which meant we got a walk in the woods this morning and another along the canal in the afternoon.  This Cormorant was sitting along the canal banks getting dried when we passed. Sometimes they come into the canal to remove the salt from their feathers. This one was quite happy to pose for a photo.
