Temperature blanket

The idea is to crochet a row of the blanket every day for a year, the colour corresponding to the temperature that day.

According to the BBC weather app I shall be using green for the foreseeable future. I also suspect I have over-allocated cold colours and under-allocated hot colours. I wonder how long before I give up?

This morning I sorted out a mountain of wool I shall never use and sent it off to Knit for Peace. This afternoon I accidentally found myself in a wool shop……
