A sorry sight

A sunny morning before a change in the weather, so we decided to brave a ski at Les Contamines to see how conditions were holding up. Barely is the answer, and this was the sad scene at our lunch stop. As it was so unpleasant underfoot, we treated ourselves to an extremely rare lunch out and had the best burgers on the mountain. We won’t need anything more to eat for quite some time.
