A watched paper block...

...never dries! The 3 blocks, made by Henry and I about a week ago have moved around the house. From the kitchen, to the fireplace and now to the radiator. They are drying....and opening up! The last one we made, is the most compact but the middle one is definitely separating in chunks. So we will make the next lot with much more mushy paper.

It has actually been a lot milder today. I wasn't as cold in the conservatory but got up too late for a walk, due to a bad night's sleep. Hope to get a better night tonight.

Mum has spent the day packing, and Manda had a long day of travelling to deliver Cameron back to uni in Norwich then pick mum up from here. They left here after 5 and won't be home until 7.30 or 8. Everyone is getting back to normal.

Jon has gone to a scout meeting, so I'm going to consult my menus and make my first proper shopping list of the year!
