Cake

We drove to the otherside of Brittany today to visit my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Alas my mother-in-law was still suffering with a cold - though much better - and she stayed at home with the her dog. Today's back blip is the cake we had at the end of the evening meal on Xmas eve.

For those that don't know, in France the main family celebration is a meal on Xmas eve, not Xmas day, and other than a yule log, is pretty free form and not as regimented as the British Xmas dinner.
