Afternoon walk. A mild day for January. Few folks about, we were surprised. Scaffolding up at the Palace, birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. Came back along the High Street - still a good selection of shops.

My wife did a bit more of her Christmas scene jigsaw. Ambition is to finish by Twelfth Night by which time our tree will be gone and decorations away; it’ll be a close run thing!

Friend dropped in for coffee.
