Freewheeling & Testing

Building a new vessel also means a lot of new equipment and all this equipment has to be tested and accepted. Basically it means that the manufacturer has to comply with all his promises in his folder. This afternoon it was the Fast Recue Boat which had to be tested and accepted. It was a brilliant day with temperatures between 24 and 28 degrees centigrade so everything was there for a nice ride with the fast boats (how else can you test them?) We spent a complete afternoon on the water and had a brief encounter with the Discovery. She is en route to Southampton to be christened by a famous moviestar (I heard). I know, it is a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
