... seen from our front porch late this cold and rainy afternoon.  We spent the day doing last minute preparations for our upcoming trip: going to two pharmacies to collect medications we'll need for the next three months, taking all our trash to the local dump, calling friends and relatives to touch base before leaving.  Marylee even found time to go to her hairdresser for a last minute haircut.

We're being collected to go to the airport at noon tomorrow so this will be an early night.  We'll be in touch from the other side of the pond tomorrow.
