Light show

Childcare day for a 14 month old. Went with a friend to visit Sudbury, a national trust property which has been revamped to be child focussed. I regret to say I didn’t like it! This is the ballroom, there is a dressing up box and disco lights. The long gallery has a selfie booth and jokey captions for the portraits that tell you nothing. Not for me!On the positive side I didn’t have to worry about my grandson touching things, he enjoyed space to roam and there were plenty of seats you could sit on. But, I couldn’t see the point or the added value. I didn’t appreciate the long walk from the buggy park to the house which involved me carrying a sturdy toddler, or being spoken to like a 5 year old or a range of other minor details that added up! I guess I’m officially a grumpy old woman!
