Mallard Drake

I went to the park again to visit with the river ducks for awhile before it was time for work. I knew that this would be my only opportunity for photography today. This friendly Mallard drake (Anas platyrhynchos) posed for me, so I managed to get a decent portrait of him. I was able to capture the iridescence of his feathers.
