Feathery grass flowers

This grass is putting out its long flower spears like a soft and hairy wheat. It's one of those things that needs to be examined up close or else will just merge with its background.

Not a bad day. M and I walked King Street Newtown, made a few purchases and dodged the craziest weather - too hot, too cold and some rain. Never mind the weather when the pub provides refuge.
