Quick, quick, let me through!

During her stay with us over the past three weeks, the lovely Lucy has been a reluctant walker. According to her humans, this is quite usual as she really doesn’t like inclement weather and is a fair weather walker. There hasn’t been a lot of fair weather recently with snow, ice and rain. However, for the past couple of days, she has been keen to get up into the woods to follow lots of different smells and that has been good to see. 
I attended a very productive meeting this morning to discuss ways of making more practical use of a local building. It will take time and we don’t want to rush into big changes as it is important that we consider the opinions of local people, but it’s exciting!
