New Years Day

We spent the afternoon the first day of the new year 2023 with family friends in Port Orchard , Washington . He’s the nephew of my our good friends and we hadn’t seen him in ages. He’s had a difficult time in the past years losing his Father, an Uncle and then his wife— it’s been extremely difficult times but now is in a new relationship with the social worker for his severely autistic son ..his other son has Down’s syndrome but functions very well.
It was a lovely day and great to reconnect .
Beginning the new year with reconnections is a good way to start!
