Hyacinths

There was little light today, we woke to darkness and it never really improved much during the day...... and it rained most of the day too!

I did some shopping at the town centre.  There appeared to be only one biro pen in the house since Christmas and we have been fighting over ownership of it.  So today I bit the bullet and spent a whole £1 in the Pound Shop on a packet of black biros.  Such luxury!

I interrupted the guys at their coffee meeting, and had a wee chat with them, then left them to meet Maeve for lunch.  First of the year, and we always exchange little gifts at this time as well as Christmas, so nice to do.

Met up with Bob later and we did a little food shopping, but to be honest we don't need very much as the fridge and freezer are still quite full from Christmas.

Didn't take a single photograph outside today, so I have blipped my pots of hyacinth bulbs.  Didn't intend to do that until they flowered, but needs must.
