Current parent/child bedtime reading is The Borrowers, which I vividly remember watching as a child - although it turns out that Homily is written a lot less posh than Penelope Wilton’s portrayal.

It’s actually quite difficult to read aloud due to old language and long sentences with lots of commas, but I love all the character names and the whole originality of the story.
