Tulips near Amsterdam

The Keukenhof gardens have been an inspiration and new plans and projects are promised. These gardens are only open for 2 months of the year and close at the end if this week. Normally this would be the end of the season but due to the cold wet spring in Europe things are at their peak. The weather today is ideal, the heavy rain last night freshened everything up and millions of glorious tulips are sparkling in the spring sunshine.
