Fishing...

…………………....……..in the Rain



Three enthusiastic fishermen braving the wet weather and trying their luck fishing in the channel near the Motueka wharf.


Snail mail had to be posted and a book returned to the library so while out we drove along the waterfront for photos. Not much activity to be seen, but the rain was more of a thick drizzle and not unpleasant dashing out of the car for photos - until we arrived at the wharf, and then the rain was too heavy to venture from the car. Unless you were one of these fishermen! 

This photo was taken through the car windscreen, giving it a sprinkling of waterdrop bokeh.


Fresh summer cherries, raspberries and apricots were purchased to be enjoyed - reminding us we  are actually meant to be basking in sunshine and hot temperatures! Although rain is welcome too.
