Icon

As my course is exploring Christianity this month I thought I would bring into prominence this Icon, which I acquired during my trip to Serbia last year. To begin with I thought it was quite a severe image of the Christ but it seems to soften the more I gaze on it. Have also begun an exploration of the Gospel of Mary for this month, helped by Karen King's wonderful book referred to on the link.
