Good-bye, Senhor Manuel

Ermelinda's Dad, on Christmas Eve, born 23rd January 1939, died lastnight. And all these folk round the table, today in floods of tears. Life changes so quickly.

We went down for the arrival of his body, and will go again in a bit to sit with them for a while. The funeral is tomorrow at 8:45.

Gratefuls:
- Sr Manuel, who so readily accepted us at his family gatherings
- that Carlos, one of the Amigos, could do the undertaking
- a meeting with Pedro, the engineer who will work on our house, and with Luís, our architect; progress!
