Waves

We have been hearing about high surf, even Alexa warned us about it on this morning's weather report, for a couple of days. With sunny weather at last, we headed to the Oceanside Pier to see what all the talk was about. The waves were definitely larger than usual, which brought out a large number of surfers. I intentionally traveled light this trip, only bringing a single lens and my "all purpose" camera, which is not the best kit to capture surfers in action. It did, however, allow me to get some decent wave photos, especially when the surfers provide a sense of scale.
