Classic Motorcycle Exhibition
Today and tomorrow is the annual Classic Motorcycle Exhibition with a varied array of machines with most having been fettled and or completely restored with many hours put into them.
But!
As much as I admire the passion of these guys I have a bit of a problem with some of them as these are machines designed and manufactured to be ridden whereas a fair proportion of them never will be so is there a point to doing it?
The two Hendersons of 1917 vintage are examples of this although you could say there are very few examples of these so they need to be preserved but I am sure the Henderson brothers would have wanted them ridden.
Top left - 1954 500cc single Vellocette.
Top right - 1960's Triumph Tiger 100 Scrambler.
Bottom left - The pair 1917 Hendersons.
Bottom right - 1949 350cc single Matchless.
A dry morning with a wet afternoon but managed to get Jasper's pm walk in just as the rain started.
