Winter Aconites

I spent the morning doing end-of-year and month-end paperwork and finances. I also sorted out my desk and once more it is tidy and more usable. Dougal is pleased as he can now sit on both desks and look out of the windows.
 
Today’s picture is of some winter Aconites; they have been damaged, presumably by the recent snow and frost.
 
The temperature at noon today was ten degrees Celsius. It is very dull, windy and has been raining for most of the day.
