Feeding the Flock

Momma Robin has her hands full with four fast growing children. I stood on the deck for about thirty minutes watching her gather food and bring it back to the nest - A total of 7 trips in that timeframe.

It amazes me that birds can build a nest and not only build it perfectly round, but do it in a manner that can withstand the elements and the entire weight of the family.
