The Fitzrovia Mural

Painted in 1980 depicting the life and times of the local area at the time. Restored in 2020. In Whitfield Gardens; a little bit of open space off Tottenham Court Road

Fitzrovia ( from Wikipedia) :-A district of central London.  The eastern part of area is in the London Borough of Camden, and the western in the City of Westminster. It has its roots in the Manor of Tottenham Court, and was urbanised in the 18th century. There are competing claims to the origin of the name.
