Turkey Tail

Trametes versicolor – also known as Coriolus versicolor and Polyporus versicolor

It’s commonly called Turkey Tail since It. resembles the multiple colors in the tail of a wild turkey.

There’s an old stump on our property that is just covered in these colorful, turkey tail lichens.
