Signs of spring?

I liked the way the light was catching these catkins next to the loop line path. Very wet first thing, but I grabbed a short walk after lunch in the sunshine. And had a lovely chat on the phone with my sister in law.

Back to a disagreement with J about the wisdom (?) of walking up to a shop to buy a new car battery. Luckily his mate P managed to convince him that he should just come home.
