Aja’s Belated Christmas present

This arrived into Heathrow on 3rd December and was delivered after Christmas. It is a print of the We Still Matter quilt made by Latifah Saafir a pre-eminent quilt maker. It is made from Steven Taylor’s clothes. Steven was shot by police while suffering from a mental breakdown. Latifah made three memorial quilts from his clothes for his three sons. This was made with the leftover scraps and hangs on the wall of his Grandma Addie who raised him.
