Restful

Despite the hideous weather today, it’s felt quite a wholesome and restful day. I waited for the rain to stop and the skies to clear before cycling into town to do a few jobs and hang out at the library. Came home and touched up a bit of the paintwork that got a little damaged in the midst of the leak and the repair. Started my first Book Club book (I’ve never been in a book club before - rejoice!) and then made some fresh pasta (my new obsession). Did some yoga to end the day.

Felt weirdly like a lockdown day today - probably because of the distinct lack of people - but once in a while I rather delight in those days.
