Loudoun Hill

We were at friends in Lanarkshire for lunch today and went there via the Ayrshire coast.   

For some reason I  had not seen the "Spirit of Scotland" memorial at Loudoun Hill - commemorating Wallace's victory - even though it has been there since 2004,  so took the chance to do so and was impressed .  

The weather helped of course.
