Reflections

Reflections. Its that time of the year when we look back at the past and wonder what the future this coming year holds for us.
 
While walking around the reservoir we met a neighbour who has taken in a Ukraine family. He is one of three families in this road who have given a home to fleeing Ukrainians and all report the arrangement is working out well. We have dithered about this for some time. Our initial contact, a student we hosted over ten years ago, managed to flee Kyiv and is now in America where she once studied.
The tragedy is that there is no sign of this war ending and it could go on for another year or years.
