Brackley Town 1 Chester FC 1

Dreadful weather today. The drive to Brackley on the motorway was pretty unpleasant and we stopped in Towcester for some geocaching and got soaked. Our mood improved with a drink in the Have I Got Brews For You micro pub and then it was off to the game.

As you can see from the blip the rain was torrential at times and although I was under cover I still got wet as it blew in under the cover. At least I did better than Rick who was sat taking pictures by the side of the pitch.

Chester got a deserved 1-1 draw against the team in 2nd place although  Brackley missed a penalty in the 94th minute which was a relief. That makes it 14 unbeaten in the league. 

On the way back we stopped for a curry in Banbury so it was a good day all round apart from the weather.
