Preparations
It was a wet day but not cold and if you are going to go on the sea biscuit you get wet anyway so preparations were made. The forester had brought a container of fuel as a contribution and here it is being poured into the boats petrol tank. This is the jetty we arrived and departed on.
The mail boat came to pick us up in the afternoon and we went up to Furneaux Lodge to drop off and pick up passengers. Then it was down Endeavour Inlet and across to Punga cove to pick up passengers and then a straight journey back to Picton. It took just under two hours. It was a great few days to maintain connections with friends and enjoy such a special place.
