Anti gravity cake!

Life is like a box of chocolates!

I’ve been hoping to have another excuse for an anti gravity cake attempt and my birthday seemed the perfect excuse to bake this elegant cake.

I decided to add some flavour to the plain Madeira sponge and went with a lemon flavour. A welcome change to the palette after all the heavy winter flavours.

In other news we visited friends in Lincoln today and had a quick catch up, we also tuned in to the commentary for the Rotherham game, another woeful performance and dumped out of the FA cup.

It would seem the players have forgot that despite the change in manager they have a job to do! The chairman needs to invest as he said he would prior to this season starting and the manger needs to find a middle ground with the players as I fear he’s changed to much too soon!

Someone asked me who I think is to blame for this catastrophic turn in form and I honestly believe it’s all three things! Hoping we turn it around but resigned to being in League One next season! Cheaper away days at least!
