Blooming

I had a top weekend in Glasgow and felt very civilised rolling into London Euston on the sleeper. I would have taken the day train back, but there was engineering work and the ticket for a slow, crowded day train would have cost more than my flexipass sleeper ticket, so the sleeper it had to be.

The train reached Euston at 7am. I really enjoy walking through the city as it's waking up. The sun was shining and Russell Square was gorgeous as I walked through it on the way to work.

I met Fred for lunch in Temple Gardens and caught up on our weekends. It's nice to be back together again after a wee holiday.
