Overwhelmed
I went to a garden shop not far from our house tonight to find inspiration for my flower beds in the shade. While I was looking at these caladiums, a wind came up, ruffling the leaves of these beautiful plants, seemingly lit from within by the sun.
Feeling lit from within is how I have felt these last four days on this unintentional journey of remembering and discovery of the events of April 19, 1995 and the Oklahoma City National Memorial as several of you have joined me, and the comments and encouragement have overwhelmed me with the beauty and community of this site.
What has been so fascinating for me during my short time here is the similarities of everything from weather patterns across the world, to the same flowers blooming, to the themes of some days. Our world is not so big after all, and the things we have in common are so much greater than the things we don't. What a rich full world of love and discovery we live in and I'm so happy I have landed here among all this love, creativity and talent.
