Visual Feast
A bit of light sanding of walls then a second top coat on one door frame before heading out to brunch at Five March Morning Glory (we booked this time). The food was so delicious and the coffee so good I had a second. We did some shopping on the way back to the flat, things like bulb fennel, ginger and poppadoms which you can’t get in Tobermory unless you’re willing to take out a mortgage.
Then we headed to Tramway to see exhibitions by Norman Gilbert and Iza Tarasewicz. Both very good. The main blip belonged to Norman Gilbert and as you can see it’s well used and reflects the gorgeous colours in his paintings. Have included extras - just love the floor and building that give this venue its name, and the work by Iza Tarasewicz is both poignant and beautifully photogenic.

Back to the flat with cake and then another layer of undercoat to the second door frame and we also put up a much needed shelf in R’s kitchen.
After this we walked into the centre to go and see Aftersun, it was good though neither of us was quite sure what happened at the end! Picked up some fish and chips on the way back. Both of us quite tired but in a good way.
