Flying High

JJ went off to watch No. 1 grandson play football, which gave me the opportunity to take advantage of the unexpected sunshine, and have a wander round the fields.

Not much around, although a flock of linnets settled high up in one of the trees on the field margin and this kite was soaring lazily on the breeze.

I've added an extra of some long-tailed tits feeding on the peanuts this morning, and if you look carefully you can see that two of them are ringed.
