Matin Mere

Martin Mere isn't very far from home but it is a very long time since we last visited.We walked around in the rain and because of where it is it always feels cold.While the rain was very heavy we headed for the cafe for Bacon Butties and a cup of tea.
The main picture is an Inca Tern taken while sheltering in one of the hides.The extras are a South African Shell Duck and Bewick Swans.I pass by Martin Mere regularly so there may be more pictures to follow.
We finished with a coffee and cake to warm up before heading home.The cafe was good and not too badly priced.Facilities excellent.

Helen not on top form the last few days.I need her fighting fit for the coming Spring.

Still getting to know the Nikon particularly the AF.It is a nice handling camera and a joy to use.
