Waiting for spring

This is my favorite shady corner to sit in when it's hot. The sun rarely reaches it during the winter, which is why the snow and ice hang on here long after the sun melts them off the rest of the property. Looking forward to the green coming back in a few months.

Today I did a bit of work in the garden, clearing out some of last year's growth. Nice to touch the soil again, even if there isn't a lot to be done right now. We're expecting a couple of warm days this week, so I'm hoping to get some manure and mulch put down in some of the beds.
