15th repairs in 21st century

They’re getting on with the repairs to this 15 or 16th century house near us which has been going on for some time. Must be be costing quite a bit to restore authentically.

A long walk this morning rounded off with a visit to the allotment to harvest parsnips and leeks for dinner tonight. A roast for the first time in months (apart from Christmas Day) which I cooked while Susan was visiting her mum.

Another dreary day, intermittently wet. Enlivened by a FaceTime with Chris, Landon, Carly and Maidison in California. Madison was fast asleep throughout. Not long til we fly out to visit them all.

Played the uke this afternoon, using an amp for the first time. I think the whole street may have heard me, never mind next door.
