End of the Day

Seems to have been busy. This morning the weather wasn't too bad and I walked to pick up my newspaper and then nipped to the garden center to pick a piece of Trellis. Then Penny arrived with Layla. by which time the heavens had opened. We managed to pick a brief interlude to go for a walk and somehow i've managed to clock up 11682 steps. I have spent a couple of hours + continuing with the tax return. I am getting there. slowly. 

We have had the stove on since lunchtime and the main room is still lovely and cozy. There are still a few glowing embers.
